AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Beautiful, vividly colored, very large XXL shell of Charonia Tritonis — the common name Triton trumpet or giant triton — is a species of very large sea snail, a marine mollusk from the family Charoniidae, the tritons. It is one of the largest mollusks on the coral reef. The shell is thick and heavy, strongly twisted into the shape of an elongated tower. It is sharply pointed at the top and gradually widens towards the opening.
Strongly ribbed, with prominent spiral ribs and nodules. The shell's color is most often yellowish, creamy, or brown, with irregular darker spots and streaks. The aperture (shell opening) is large, wide, and oval.
The interior is smooth, often orange, pink, or red-brown, contrasting with the outer side of the shell. The outer lip is thick, sometimes wavy, often with delicate serrations.
Its distinctive features—due to its large size and characteristic shape—made it used in many cultures as a wind instrument (conch-trumpet).
It is valued by collectors and has significance in art as well as in rituals. Dimensions-130×190×375 mm. I highly recommend it to collectors and interior designers.
