Bed sheet (3) - 310 cm - 270 cm - Engraved linen sheet

Refined complete set of a matrimonial sheet in pure linen, enhanced by hand-punched engraving in the Madeira tradition, executed with great artisan craftsmanship according to a historic technique of fine linen.
The decoration runs along the frill with floral motifs and finely carved scrolls, finished by hand. The linen, of superior quality, has a fresh and compact hand, typical of productions intended for important trousseaus.
The lot includes:
1) Pure linen sheet with Madeira punched-engraved ornament
2) coordinating pillowcases, also in linen, with original buttonholes but without buttons. Measurements: 92x56 cm, usable 49 cm.
New, never used, still in original packaging and with serial-number stamping.
Two very tiny spots, of minimal size and visible only upon careful inspection, are completely consistent with long-term storage as an unused part of a trousseau.
