Description from the seller
Title: Light on the Gulf
An oil on canvas of small format that opens like a luminous window onto the Mediterranean, where the bay is the absolute protagonist and vibrates with turquoise and cobalt reflections. The sea, moved by rapid and textural brushstrokes, welcomes white sails that punctuate the horizon, while the outline of the harbor draws an elegant curve, punctuated by light, warm buildings, ochre and terracotta, that guide the eye toward the bluish mountains in the background. In the foreground, a rich floral frame explodes in pinks, reds, and emerald greens, creating a chromatic dialogue with the intense blue of the water; to the right, a tall tree leans its branches toward the scene, adding rhythm and depth. Light is the protagonist: diffuse, Mediterranean, it caresses every element and unifies the composition in a joyful and serene atmosphere. The painterly writing, instinctive and vibrant, renders a landscape lived rather than described, transforming the view into an emotional celebration of color and place.
