Description from the seller
Artist: Esther Beil (1975), Dutch
The Multi - One
Edition: 1/10 (unique edition: only this edition on luxury Hahnemühle Hemp paper)
Dimensions: the total size including the white border is 40x60 cm.
Additional information: The artwork is delivered without a frame.
Description
A leaf canopy in autumn becomes an X-ray-like image due to the long exposure and movement imparted with the lens.
The name of the work is a simple reference to the color palette and is part of a series of similar works.
Printing process: Fine art giclée print, the 1/10 edition is a one-off on luxurious Hahnemühle Hemp paper and therefore unique. An environmentally friendly and durable paper made of 60% hemp fiber and 40% cotton. The paper is of high quality and fully acid-free.
The bright, natural white without optical whiteners and the subtle texture give the print a unique appearance. Thanks to the matte coating, colors, details, and black tones are beautifully enhanced.
The subsequent editions 2 through 10 are fine art giclée prints on Hahnemühle William Turmer paper.
About the artist:
The artist strives for abstraction and a certain degree of simplicity in her abstract photography. Dynamics and stillness are both recurring themes, also in this series of works.
The artist continually seeks the core in her experimental approach: what remains when you leave out everything except form, rhythm, light/dark, and color.
