ABOUT THE ARTIST
Alfredo Molero Doval, Madrid
Alfredo Moreno Doval is a contemporary Spanish artist whose work is deeply influenced by natural and time-worn materials, such as minerals, earth, tree bark, and recycled elements. His artistic language has been shaped by extensive travel, drawing inspiration from the colors and textures of different places, including the reddish-brown tones of Jaipur, the weathered walls of Rome, and the dynamic sense of movement experienced during his time in New York, where art permeates the streets. Photography, another of his passions, has also played a significant role in his visual approach.
Moreno Doval began his artistic career exhibiting at international art fairs with Galería Gaudí and later with Van Gogh Art Gallery in cities such as Miami and Paris. He is known for working on large-scale canvases, combining bold color strokes with strong, cracked textures. Constant technical variation within a consistent personal style defines his practice, with movement and expressive freedom serving as central references in his work.
