In my version, David no longer brandishes Goliath's head…
He holds that of a bear, a symbol of innocence, a pop icon, a reassuring mascot.
Because in our era, we no longer topple giants, we decapitate symbols.

Caravaggio's chiaroscuro against the absurd gentleness of a bear who doesn't understand what's happening to him.
At once funny, unsettling, and a little tragic.

Teejo is a contemporary French artist. Cultural mediator, he modernizes old works by great masters by reinventing them with his own vision.
