Sansui Electric Co., Ltd. SR-222 MKII belt-drive turntable, Japanese production from the late 1970s / early 1980s. A solid, no-nonsense model from the period when Sansui was still seriously involved in analog audio technology.

This SR-222 MKII is equipped with a heavy aluminum platter, belt drive and an S-shaped tonearm with a removable headshell. It comes with the original Sansui headshell and a high-quality stylus and cartridge. Speed options at 33 and 45 rpm. The turntable runs steadily and spins correctly; the arm mechanism functions as intended. It features a new belt and a well-oiled motor.

Visually in good condition with hardly any signs of use. Dust cap present and intact, with visible hairlines and light discoloration as commonly seen with this type. No cracks. See photos for a realistic impression; these are part of the description.

Connection via fixed cinch cable with earth wire. Operates on 220–240V / 50Hz (EU version).

Carefully packed and shipped. The platform and counterweight are disassembled for transport to prevent damage.
