Michiel Folkers, better known as Gieler (1982), began in the late nineties as a graffiti artist in Amsterdam. He now works in his studio, but the rawness of the street remains visible in his art. Especially in the United States, his work has become incredibly popular in recent years, and he hangs on the walls of several celebrities.
