Description from the seller
Lisandro Ramacciotti was born in Viareggio in 1950, where he still lives and works. He began painting from a very young age, but it is around his thirties that he began participating in group exhibitions. His first solo show was in 1981, where he achieved a fair degree of success. A number of solo exhibitions followed, mainly in Italy and Paris. Numerous works are held in Italian, French, German, Belgian, and Spanish collections, demonstrating that his art is universally recognized. He is famous for his evocative female portraits, which have earned praise and recognition everywhere. Several critics have written about him, including Tommaso Paloscia, Giuseppe Cordoni, Paolo Fornaciari, and others.
