Description from the seller

Elegant French-made table clock with a portico, dating from the second half of the 19th century.
The case is made of veneered wood with rich floral and geometric inlays on the base and the upper frieze. The architectural structure is characterized by four turned columns with capitals and bases in gilded bronze, which give solidity and balance to the whole.

Circular white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, unsigned signature not visible, typical of Parisian production of the era. Hands in finely shaped metal. Manual-wind mechanical movement, with a gilded bronze pendulum finely decorated with floral motifs.

The watch has a patina consistent with its age, with slight signs of wear and the passage of time, which attest to its authenticity and historical charm. Overall good condition. Functioning to be checked/regulated (a service is recommended, as is typical for antique watches).

A refined example of nineteenth-century French decorative clockmaking, ideal for collectors or as a prestigious element for classical interiors.
