Description from the seller
For sale: Kodak Eastman 3A Model B-2, a large-format folding camera produced between 1903 and 1915, complete with the original leather case—a kit that oozes history and character. The body is characterized by an imposing red leather bellows in good condition and a well-preserved black external covering, details that make it a striking display piece.
On the front, there is the automatic F.P.K. shutter with the classic brass and black plate, surrounded by the rapid rectilinear lens, while the polished mahogany base adds a touch of elegance and warmth to the technical design. The light brown leather case, with a worked metal clasp and a strap, is a precious accessory that completes the kit, showing the signs of time that enhance its vintage charm.
The data sheet reports generally good overall condition: camera body in good condition, shutter and mechanical movements functioning, lens with clean optics, bellows good and leather coverings very good. This camera used 122-format roll film for postcard-sized negatives (3¼ x 5½ inches), and represents the pinnacle of Kodak portable technology of the Edwardian era. Included is a Kodak 3A Model B-2 camera and a leather case as shown in the pictures.
