The extensive frequency range in the discrete amplifiers is achieved thanks to Wide Range Amplifier Technology (WRAT) and a high-current power supply for all six channels. The sound quality is improved by using thick copper strips for the mass connections instead of the usual copper traces on a printed circuit board. The TX-SR501E features a five-step adjustable filter from 60 to 150 Hz, allowing the crossover frequency for the subwoofer to be perfectly matched to a wide range of speakers. Additionally, there is the 'Easy Set' speaker configuration and color-coded inputs and outputs, making installation extremely simple.
