Description from the seller
Laguiole Bougna pocket knife or folding knife made of olive wood with corkscrew in a beautiful box with a sharpening steel, belt sheath, and oil to properly care for the knife.
Vine engraved decorations on the back of the handle along with the well-known Laguiole bee.
At the same time, the shepherd's cross sits on the handle. This is what the shepherds would use to pray before meals during their long treks across the land, with the knife stuck into the bread. The French shepherds also often enjoyed wine, and as a result there were versions made with a corkscrew, of which this is one.
Equipped with an olive wood handle with stainless steel bolsters. This knife has an elegant, sturdy and original design. The sharp, finely etched stainless steel blade is highly resistant to corrosion.
What is special about olive wood is that the tree can only be used once it no longer produces olives. This usually occurs after 100 years. This means that this beautiful knife is made from wood that is over 100 years old. The pocket knife features a stylish and sleek design. Thanks to its slim profile, the knife fits comfortably in the hand.
Ideal if you want to personalize your gifts, as it is already packaged in a nice box with a belt sheath, a small honing steel, and oil to keep the knife in good condition.
This pocket knife will become a daily must-have, whether it's for use in the kitchen or during your outdoor outings.
Please note that there are no papers or a certificate included with this knife. The set is unused, and therefore basically like new.
Laguiole
The well-known knife from France is originally a beautiful, functional pocket knife. Laguiole is not a brand name but a reference to a French village. It was designed based on a Spanish pocket knife called navaja and a local French small knife called capuchadou.
