Historical context
The HD7300 model dates back to the early 1990s and is estimated today to have been produced around 1993. At its market launch, the HD7300 was positioned in the mid to upper-mid segment. The original list price was estimated to be in the range of about 600–700 Deutsche Marks (DM), which clearly placed it above entry-level devices but below the high-end models.
