Esperite is a very rare calcium-lead-zinc silicate, best known from the Franklin mine. It exhibits striking bright yellow fluorescence under shortwave ultraviolet (SW UV) light.
Also present is calcite (bright red), willemite (neon green), small spot with hardystonite (purple) and franklinite crystals (non fluorescent) on matrix. The esperite is well distributed across the matrix and the specimen has a respected weight.
