Distantone - Unknown Tube radio

A French-made valve radio receiver (TSF set), housed in a wooden cabinet, with front-panel controls.

This is clearly a crystal radio set / valve radio from the pioneer era of wireless telegraphy, intended for domestic use.

Period: 1922 – 1932

Simple wooden case, not Bakelite, three adjustment knobs with numbered graduations.
Presence of old radio tubes (blown glass), internal components with coils and variable capacitors

Internal plaque labeled 'FRANCE'

S.P. / S.S. / E.P. / E.S. markings typical of the earliest radio assemblies; this is from before the massive industrialization of Bakelite sets (the 1930s).
