A French Biedermeier style round end table, probably made in the 19th century (c. 1820-1840). The style is characterized by clean lines, minimal ornamentation, functionality, and the use of local woods such as walnut or cherry, which are polished to a high gloss to highlight the natural beauty of the wood.

Legs: Curved (resembling sword or cabriole legs) legs that lend elegance to the piece.

This type of table was popular with the emerging middle class, as it served as a place for informal gatherings and combined functionality with non-aristocratic sophistication.
