Wako Book 4
Wolfgang Tillmans
Wako/2008/Japanese/153*218*8
Wolfgang Tillmans / Wako Book 4 is a photobook by photographer Wolfgang Tillmans, who was born in Germany and is based in the UK. He gained attention in the 1990s through his work in magazines such as i-D and Interview, and in 2000 he won the prestigious Turner Prize. Inspired by youth culture in London and his unique perspective and sense of style, he captures fragments of everyday life, transcending the boundaries of photography. He continues to expand his artistic horizons, working in film production, installation art, abstract fine art, and other fields. His style of capturing familiar subjects from new perspectives, combined with his real-close trends, continues to be highly regarded by fashionistas. This book is the fourth installment in the collaborative series between Wako Works of Art and Tillmans, whose sixth work was released in 2020. It consists of monochrome and color works created in the 2000s, edited and designed under Tillmans' own direction. Limited to 1,500 copies.
