Very fine antique piano bench, manufactured in the 20th century, made of solid wood with an elegant turned central column and three gracefully curved legs. The bench is height-adjustable via a classic screw mechanism that operates smoothly.
The seat is round and equipped with the original upholstery, finished with decorative nailheads. The fabric shows a warm, authentic patina appropriate to its age, without any noticeable damage. This gives the stool its character and historic appearance.
The design and construction are typical of piano cases from the early 20th century, as used with pianos and harmoniums in salons and music rooms.
