READING STUDY is a 70 by 100 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García. This painting presents an intimate and luminous interior, conceived as a refuge for reading and thought. A light-colored armchair occupies the foreground, inviting silent repose, while some opened books and stacks on the floor suggest an interrupted reading, still alive.

The shelves stacked with books form a dense, structured backdrop, contrasting with the space’s chromatic breadth.
