Biography of Tran Thị Huyền Trân
Vietnamese painter – contemporary acrylic
Tran Thị Huyền Trân, born December 27, 1992, is a contemporary painter from Quảng Trị, a region located near Huế in central Vietnam. This land, marked by history, imperial culture, and the poetic beauty of its landscapes, has profoundly influenced her artistic sensibility.
From a young age, she developed a fascination with colors, texture, and movement. Self-taught and then trained at several Vietnamese workshops, she gradually built a vibrant, energetic, and decidedly modern style.
Her works are distinguished by flowing paint, dynamic superpositions, generous textures, and a vibrant palette where red, blue, yellow, and green converse. Each canvas is an explosion of vitality, a spontaneous visual language that oscillates between lyrical abstraction and colorful expressionism.
Now based in Ho Chi Minh City, Tran Thị Huyền Trân establishes herself as one of the most promising emerging artists of the new Vietnamese scene.
She mainly exhibits at Artis Art Gallery, where her acrylic paintings on canvas attract an international audience, captivated by the emotional power and authenticity of her gesture.
Her creations are perceived as a bridge between Vietnamese tradition — imbued with softness, harmony, and spirituality — and bold, raw modernity, almost instinctive.
Through his works, the artist explores themes of inner energy, memory, imaginary landscapes, and the perpetual movement of life.
Today, Tran Thị Huyền Trân continues her artistic development with a clear ambition: to promote contemporary Vietnamese art beyond borders, offering a free, vibrant, accessible, and deeply human painting style.
