Description from the seller
Up for auction, an iconic piece of Swedish engineering: the Facit 1820. Produced by the renowned Facit AB of Åtvidaberg, this machine is often nicknamed the "Volvo of typewriters" for its incredible robustness and build quality.
This specimen stands out for its rare and fascinating metallic blue color ("Sparkle Blue"), a finish far more sought-after than the classic gray office models. Equipped with a professional-wide carriage, it was the top-of-the-line for offices of the era, designed to ensure precision and a typing experience quieter than its competitors.

• Keyboard Layout: QWERTY.
• Frame: Die-cast metal with a textured (embossed) finish.
