Leerling van het Instituur Piersma en de Akademie v. B.K. te Amsterdam. Hij schildert en tekent (pen, pastel) en aquarelleert landschappen, stillevens en portretten. Maakte landschappen van Frankrijk en Mallorca. Adam Potgieter was Lid van ‘St. Lucas’ te Amsterdam en ‘Kunst zij ons Doel’ te Haarlem. Werk is in zeer goede staat, lijst heeft wel sporen van ouderdom. zie foto's. Het doek is 50 x 50. Wordt zeer goed verpakt verzonden.
