The sankha is a ritual shell that plays a central role in Tibetan Buddhism. The sound of the sankha is used during ceremonies to drive away evil spirits and to announce the beginning of prayer sessions.

The sankha is one of the Eight Auspicious Symbols (Ashtamangala) in Tibetan Buddhism.

This was used by monks and lamas during pujas (prayer ceremonies), rituals and processions in monasteries and temples.

This item can be shipped together with my other items in this auction so that you only have to pay the shipping costs once.
