Lanco Automatic – Swiss Vintage Watch (1970s)

This elegant Lanco Automatic is a fine example of Swiss watchmaking from the 1970s, a period when mechanical watches were built to balance everyday reliability with distinctive design. Lanco, a respected Swiss manufacture founded in the early 20th century, was known for producing robust, honest timepieces with in-house expertise and strong attention to detail.

The watch features a stainless steel case paired with a rare brown dial, whose warm tone and subtle aging give it a unique vintage character. Applied hour markers with luminous accents and gold-toned hands create a refined contrast, while the framed date window at 3 o’clock adds practical functionality. The dial is signed “Automatic” and “Swiss Made,” confirming its mechanical Swiss origins.
