- Inscriptions: Obverse: FREDERIK IX KONGE AF DANMARK, bust of the king to the right. Reverse: PRINSESSE MARGRETHE · 16.4.1958 · 2 KRONER, bust of Princess Margrethe to the left.

Commemorative silver coin issued on the occasion of the birth of Princess Margrethe of Denmark, future Queen Margrethe II, with an obverse that features the mature portrait of King Frederick IX to the right, in a realistic style and sober execution, with well-defined reliefs and clean fields. The reverse shows the youthful bust of Princess Margrethe to the left, with delicate and elegant modeling, highlighting the soft treatment of the hair and facial features, accompanied by the birth date and the face value. The specimen remains in excellent condition for the type, with crisp reliefs, very slight surface marks typical of the grade, and an attractive light silver patina that enhances the artistic quality and historical character of the piece.
