Obverse: CONSTANTINE, KING OF THE HELLENES, busts superimposed to the right of King Constantine II and Queen Anne Marie. Reverse: crowned double-headed eagle, denomination 30 DR (drachmas), and date 1964.
- Grade: MS65 (NGC).
Silver commemorative coin issued on the occasion of the royal wedding between King Constantine II of Greece and Princess Anne‑Marie of Denmark, with an obverse showing the busts of the monarchs facing to the right in a realistic style, of excellent modeling and careful definition of the features, highlighting the detail of the king’s uniform and decorations. The reverse depicts the crowned double-headed eagle, heraldic emblem of the Greek monarchy, with outstretched wings and deep reliefs, accompanied by the face value and the date. The specimen is presented in an outstanding state of preservation, with sharp reliefs, very clean fields and attractive original lustre with soft iridescent reflections, offering an exceptional presence and great visual quality.
