Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
The R 2000 is a dual-function Super8/Regular8 film projector and instant cinema television, in good physical condition and tested and working, with automatic film threading, a magnetic motor, 100–240 V AC power, and the ability to open for projection onto a standard screen.
Description from the seller
Lecture: front, back, fixed
Screen size: 300 x 224 mm
Loading the film: automatic threading
Motor: magnetic motor
Power supply: 100 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz
Can be opened to project onto a standard projection screen.
Double format: can be switched from Super8 to Regular8 and vice versa. It was followed by the sound models Eumig RS 2500 Instaprojection (extremely rare) and Eumig RS 3000 Instaprojection.
It’s like a convenient, semi-portable instant TV for Super 8, saving you from having to set up a projection screen in normal operation, but it can be opened to project onto a standard projection screen just like a regular projector, so it’s essentially two devices in one: a cinematic television and a standard projector. Moreover, it’s certainly preferable for a simple transfer off the wall to use a standard projection screen, a sheet of paper, or one of those tiny glass screens, though of course it’s inferior to a professional telecine.
Warning: Do not touch the lens during projection onto a standard projection screen due to the risk of an electric shock from poor insulation. Use the front button to focus instead.
