Beautiful Delft polychrome lidded vase (urn – ginger pot) from Velsen (a renowned pottery house with roots in Kennemer pottery).
model no. = 1669 (see bottom) Delft's polychrome, hand-painted with initial and Velsen mark.
Decor = hand-painted, vivid floral pattern with a detailed bird motif. - Rich polychrome color palette.
with an ornate lid.

lid: H = 13 cm / diam. rim = 16 cm . / weight = 2,990 kg.
Everything is in very good condition with a very minor restoration to the bottom rim of the lid. Almost invisible and not visible at all when the lid is on the pot.
