Description from the seller

Beautiful Mary Gregory–style glass decanter, made of cobalt blue glass and decorated with a finely executed hand-enameled white figure, depicting a young boy in a landscape setting. The contrast between the deep blue glass and the white enamel decoration gives the piece an elegant and timeless appearance.

Mary Gregory glassware is named after Mary Gregory (1856–1908), an American glass decorator known for popularizing this distinctive style in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Such pieces were widely produced in Europe and America and remain highly collectible today.

The decanter features a well-fitting original stopper and elegant proportions, making it both a decorative and collectible object.
Bohemian glass, Mary Gregory style, circa 1890–1910

Dimensions:

Height with stopper: 25 cm

Height without stopper: 20 cm

Diameter: 9 cm

Condition:

Considering its age, the gilding shows slight wear in places, which is consistent with use and time. This does not detract from the beauty or value of the piece. No cracks or chips observed.

From a private collection.
The item will be very carefully packed and shipped with tracking.
Combined shipping is possible when purchasing multiple lots — please see my other listed items by clicking on the seller’s name.
