This is the Nikon 1 J2 in its vibrant and sought-after pink finish. As the successor to the J1, the J2 features a higher-resolution LCD and a more refined metallic body texture. This unit is fully operational, features an English menu system, and comes with a matching accessory set.
[LCD Condition Analysis & Hypotheses] I have conducted a professional inspection of the rear display to ensure full transparency for collectors:
LCD Surface Discoloration (Cosmetic Note): As seen in image DSC_0018, there is visible mottling or discoloration on the screen surface that cannot be removed by cleaning.
Hypothesis A (Coating Degradation): This is likely a natural aging of the anti-reflective coating or internal display layers.
Hypothesis B (Usability): Importantly, this is a physical cosmetic issue of the display panel only. It does not affect the sensor, the image processing, or the final photo data.
Verification: When the screen is powered on, the menu and live view remain clearly functional for framing and settings.
