AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Sir Stirling Moss and Tony Brooks hand signed pair of string back driving gloves.

Stirling Moss and Tony Brooks were good friends and team mates as well as rivals on track, but their famous victory at the 1957 British Grand Prix for Vanwall is probably the highlight of their partnership. Driving for Vanwall at Aintree, Tony Brooks was in the top ten but struggling with an injury he sustained at Le Mans in a crash, so when Stirling's car expired, he gave up his Vanwall to Stirling, who with an amazing turn of speed, went on to win the race! The first time the British Grand Prix had been won by a British driver in a British car.

These brand new gloves are exactly as both Stirling and Tony wore to drive the Vanwall that day, both gloves are hand signed and with a COA.
