Very handsome and collectible British edition of Monopoly, published by Waddingtons (Leeds, England) in the period approx. 1953–1962. This is the classic English edition with the well-known streets such as Mayfair, Park Lane, Bond Street and Oxford Street, rendered on the traditional green game board and with amounts in British pounds (£).
The set contains the original game board, the Waddingtons box with red inner tray, the property titles, Chance and Community Chest cards, the original Monopoly banknotes, metal tokens and dice. The components are neatly stored and show normal signs of use and aging.
The box and the board are in well-kept vintage condition, with light signs of wear that suit a game of this age.
