Description from the seller

Bob Dylan, De Kuip, Rotterdam 1978
C-Print on 210 g/m2 Fujifilm Fine Art Paper, Signed and blind stamped. Size 30 x 40 cm, edition 6/200.

Shipped carefully packed.

Another rock 'n roll equals a war situation. Fifty thousand people unwilling to move an inch out of the way for me. Halfway through the concert, I finally got close enough to the stage to take some pictures with a tripod and a telephoto lens. The concert was in the afternoon, but luckily there was a nice light show and Mr. Dylan had been to make-up.

Gijsbert Hanekroot (Brussels, 1945) began his career in 1969 and worked for magazines and newspapers in the 1970s. His career as a photojournalist fit perfectly with the explosion of the rock scene. He masterfully documented the golden age of music history and photographed many of the greatest icons of the era. Hanekroot strove to capture images that revealed the person behind the musician. This resulted in portraits that are natural and intimate, relaxed and sincere. And in dazzling concert photographs.
The photographer is represented by Blitz Gallery, Tokyo, Blue Lotus Gallery, Hong Kong, Mondo Galeria, Madrid, Proud Galleries, London, and ONO-Arte, Bologna, among others.
