Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Exceptional natural malachite egg ornament derived from a single massive block, with a botryoidal structure and intense green patterns, weighing 678 g and measuring 84 × 65 × 65 mm, originating from Congo.
Description from the seller
Ornamental egg made of natural malachite of the highest quality, selected for the extraordinary definition of the internal structures and for the chromatic intensity of the green. The specimen was cut from a single block of solid malachite and subsequently worked and polished with great care, until obtaining a perfectly spherical surface that allows a continuous reading of the mineral.
Malachite exhibits well-developed botryoidal and concentric structures, with thin bands, multiple eyes, and globular aggregates distributed tridimensionally over the entire surface. The tones range from deep emerald green to lighter, brighter greens, creating a natural contrast with notable visual depth. The layering and wavy lines are the direct result of hydrothermal processes related to copper mineralization, developed over long geological periods.
Professional polishing enhances the internal texture of the mineral without altering its authenticity, making the growth structures perfectly readable. Each rotation of the sphere reveals new details and micro-mineral landscapes, giving the specimen a strong stage presence. Ideal for high-level mineral collections, cabinet de curiosités, or as a natural decorative element with a strong impact.
