Set of 6 lead crystal water glasses at 31% (the world’s purest crystal) mouth-blown with freehand technique and deep manual polishing with a diamond cut, transparent, height 17.9 cm x diameter 9 cm, exceptional and exclusive artisanal craftsmanship from the world’s oldest crystal works, Saint-Louis, 1586. Designed in 1928, Tommy’s service made a magnificent impression in 1938 during an extraordinary lunch at Versailles: more than two hundred guests attended, including the King of the United Kingdom, George VI, and his wife Queen Elizabeth. From its star-shaped base to its parison adorned with a beveled diamond cut, Tommy reflects all the skill of Saint-Louis glassmakers. Made in France, each piece bears an acid-etched mark under the foot and stamped beyond the Saint Louis mark, the 225th anniversary of its birth. Condition: Active. Current: 1987
