Late Intermediate Period
Ceremonial blackware vessel with square stirrup-spout construction, typical of Chimú craftsmanship.
A sculpted monkey figure sits at the junction of the spout and handle, adding narrative character.
The upper body features a finely incised decorative band with stylized fish motifs.
Made from burnished black ceramic with strong visual contrast.
Two minor chips are missing from the spout; otherwise intact.
