Petra Erengil's Nachklang is an oil painting on canvas, 50 × 50 cm, dated 2026, in excellent condition, depicting a sea landscape in expressionist style, signed Handsigniert, an original edition sold directly by the artist from Germany.
Description from the seller
Between embers and silence, the boats glide over a liquid landscape of light.
The sky reflects in the water, as if the day were taking a deep breath once more,
before he lets go.
Petra Erengil is a contemporary painter whose work is characterized by a distinctive palette knife technique, powerful textures, and warm, Mediterranean-influenced color palettes. Her visual language combines expressive dynamism with atmospheric lighting moods, bringing landscapes, urban scenes, and southern motifs to vivid depth.
She regularly participates in national and international exhibitions and presents her works in her own, small gallery with an open studio in Göttingen. Her works are in private collections in Germany and abroad.
Artistic focal points:
– Spatula technique and impasto surfaces
– Mediterranean landscapes, southern city scenes, Tuscan motifs
– Warm color schemes with white and lighting scenes
– Acrylic and oil painting in expressive, texture-focused execution
The painting is stretched on a canvas stretcher frame and finished with a final varnish.
