Pair of Hasselblad V-system film magazines (A12 and A24) from the 1950s, tested and working, in good condition, with chrome finish and black leatherette inserts and a back dark slide holder, including two magazines as shown and matching serial numbers.
Description from the seller
Two Hasselblad film backs for sale, essential accessories for the V system (500c/m, 501, 503, etc.), which allow changing the film type in the middle of a roll. The images show two different models, identifiable by the circled number on the back:
magazzino a12 (codice 12): it is the standard and most sought-after model, designed for 120 film and offering 12 exposures in 6x6 format. it features automatic stop at the first frame (hence the "a" in a12) and an automatic counter. it is compatible with all Hasselblad V-system cameras.
A24 back (code 24): designed specifically for 220 film (which has no protective paper except at the beginning and end), it offers 24 shots in 6x6 format. Note: 220 films are no longer in production. Although it is possible to load 120 film into an A24 back, you will lose the correct frame spacing and there is a risk of overlaps or focusing problems due to the different pressure of the film pressure plate, in addition to losing the correct frame counter (it will read up to 24). For this reason, A24 backs have a significantly lower market value than A12.
Both magazines feature a chrome finish with black leatherette inserts and the dark slide holder on the back, a characteristic of the newer versions. It is important to verify that the serial number of the inner insert matches that of the outer shell (matching numbers) to ensure a perfect seal against light and flatness. Two magazines are included (A12 and A24) as shown in the images.
