Agfa Synchro Box Analogue camera

AGFA Synchro Box for sale, a classic box camera produced in Germany between 1951 and 1957. This model, also known as the "box 600", is distinguished by its elegant Art Deco-style front with vertical white and black stripe decorations.


uses 120-format film (still standard and available today) to produce 8 large-format negatives 6x9 cm. the lens is a fixed-focus meniscus, sharp from about 3 meters to infinity. it has two bright-viewfinders (one for horizontal framing and one for vertical) and simple side controls: shutter lever, a switch for bulb or instant exposure (about 1/30s - 1/50s), and an upper tab to select the diaphragm (around f/11 or f/16) or insert an integrated yellow filter to increase contrast in black and white. the name "synchro" indicates it is synchronized for use with the era's bulb flash (agfa clibo). the unit is complete with its original brown leather case with the Agfa logo
