Description from the seller
Hello
I sell:
This set of three miniature vehicles is directly inspired by the Tintin in America album, one of the most famous stories in the series created by Hergé.
These models perfectly illustrate the spirit of the album, marked by action, satire, and the exploration of 1930s America. The vehicles take a central place in the story and fully contribute to the narrative and visual rhythm of the adventure.
The lot consists of three distinct miniatures, each presented on its original blue base bearing the inscription Tintin in America:
An open-top blue car with Tintin and Snowy, accompanied by passengers, an iconic scene of the journey and encounters from the album.
A brown ambulance adorned with a red cross, typical of the era’s utility vehicles, recalling the many twists and unexpected situations Tintin experienced.
Red race car, driven by a character raising their hand, evoking the fast and spectacular sequences that punctuate the album.
The figurines are finely sculpted, well-proportioned, and faithful to the Ligne claire graphic style, with expressive faces and dynamic poses.
