Secrétaire - Oak - Louis XV style

This single-curved Dutch slant-front desk was made in the 19th century, modeled on 18th-century Louis Quinze furniture, circa 1740–1780.
The piece is crafted from solid oak with a warm brown patina. The front features an elegant bombe shape and is fitted with three roomy drawers with richly detailed latoun brass fittings and keyplates.
The fold-out writing surface opens to an interior with several small drawers and a central niche, ideal for storing documents and writing utensils.
On the knees, adorned with frost
Latoun copper Rococo-style ornaments with foliate scrolls. The drawer pulls are also made from brass-plated latoun copper.
