Pitcher - Ceramic, Terracotta - Romacréa art school 1950

A circular-gourd-shaped pitcher, glazed earthenware in brown and ochre tones, from the Romacréa School, a group of artists founded in Rome in the 1950s that later became a workshop/factory and then an art school.
The belly is decorated in relief:

On one side, young girls in winter coats holding hands.

On the other side, a stylized spiral pattern.

This unique piece perfectly illustrates the Italian mid-century style, combining sculpture, relief, and color.
