Napoléon III era mantel clock by A. Brocot & Delettrez (Paris), circa 1860–1885, featuring a patinated régule sculpture on a black marble base, mechanical pendulum movement with hour and half-hour striking, dimensions 60 × 40 × 20 cm, weight about 5 kg, winding key included, materials brass, régule and marble, in fairly good condition with possible minor flaws, movement not confirmed as working.

Napoleon III fireplace clock – A. Brocot & Delettrez, Paris – 19th century
Magnificent French 19th-century mantel clock from the Napoléon III era, resting on a moulded black marble base.
The clock is topped with an elegant sculpted group in patinated régule depicting two children (putti) sitting on a mound, a scene full of softness and movement, typical of the decorative taste of the second half of the 19th century.
The mechanical balance wheel movement, signed A. Brocot & Delettrez – Paris, is a product of a renowned Parisian watchmaking house, a guarantee of quality and precision.
Chiming of hours and half-hours.
