Typology : Two Hammers.
Material : Flint stone.
Cutting : This collection is composed of one big hammer showing many impacts and one small showing impacts.
Dating, hominid : These implements belong to the Mousterian Culture ( Middle Paleolithic period, circa 50 000 years ago), and were conceived by Homo Neanderthalensis.
Origin : Found in France, Grand Pressigny area.
Sizes : 9,5 cm to 2,5 cm.
Condition : Very well preserved. Beautiful Patina.
Acquired in 2015 from a private collector, collected since the 70's.
