Description from the seller
This Sony Walkman WM-31 stereo cassette player was produced in the early 1980s, around 1981–1982, in Japan and belongs to the early generation of portable Walkmans that put Sony on the map worldwide. The model is compact, finished in a distinctive blue housing and is known for its simple, functional design without unnecessary luxury.
The WM-31 runs on two 1.5-volt AA batteries and weighs about 190 grams excluding batteries, which made it very portable for its time. The device is equipped with a stereo headphone jack and is intended for playing standard compact cassettes. As was typical for Walkmans from this period, the controls and construction are entirely mechanical in nature.

No accessories included. The device is offered as vintage electronics, with the photos constituting part of the description and guiding its condition.
