Description from the seller
Pioneer PL-115D turntable, a vintage model from the late 1970s (around 1977-1980).
It's a belt-drive turntable, semi-automatic with an auto-return feature: you manually place the tonearm at the start of the record, it plays, and at the end of the side it lifts the needle and returns the tonearm to its resting position (auto-return). It's not fully automatic like newer models.
Main features
• Speeds: 33⅓ and 45 RPM.
• 4-pole synchronous motor, very quiet.
• 30 cm cast aluminum plate.
Straight, static-balanced tonearm, with anti-skate adjustment and manual cueing lift.
• Wow & flutter: 0.07% (very low for the era).
• Signal-to-noise ratio: >50 dB.
• Dark marbled base.
phono cartridge Stanton 505, mounted in the headshell
It's a classic, reliable, and high-quality model. It sounds good, warm, and detailed for vinyls.
Dimensions: 440 mm (width) × 159 mm (height) × 362 mm (depth).
(Approximate equivalent in inches: 17.3” × 6.3” × 14.2”).
• Weight: 6 kg (net, without packaging).
It will be shipped with the plate and capsule disassembled, to prevent breakage; the shipment will be through Catawiki (UPS), insured with a delivery signature.
