Description from the seller
Rare Baccarat Crystal Goblets on Exceptionally Tall Stems
France, early 20th century.
A refined and elegant set of antique crystal glasses produced by the prestigious Baccarat manufactory in France at the beginning of the 20th century.
These goblets are distinguished by their exceptionally tall and slender stems, giving them a noble and highly sophisticated silhouette. Crafted from fine, high-quality lead crystal, they display outstanding transparency, brilliance, and balance. The combination of clear crystal with precise, delicate cutting reflects the excellence of Baccarat’s craftsmanship during the Belle Époque period.
The glasses are unsigned, which is entirely authentic and historically correct, as Baccarat pieces were not marked prior to the introduction of acid stamps in 1936. The attribution is based on the crystal quality, cutting style, proportions, and overall execution, all consistent with documented Baccarat production of the era.
Preserved in excellent antique condition, the goblets show only very light, natural traces of time, fully consistent with their age. There are no chips, cracks, or restorations. The crystal remains clear, luminous, and highly attractive.
Height — 18 cm
Top diameter — 5 cm
Base diameter — 6.8 cm
