Description from the seller
We are presenting here our Mini Cooper 1000 from 1983. The Mini is an older restoration from the 1990s. The design on the car is glued on and can be removed without leaving any residue.
The vehicle passed the technical inspection without defects last year.
The mileage is verifiable up to 2023.
The mileage is only as indicated on the odometer and cannot be guaranteed.
Bodywork and paint
The entire vehicle was repainted during the previous restoration. There are no rust bubbles in the paint or deep scratches. The rubber seals as well as the chrome are in good condition.
The underbody has minor surface rust, but no welding work is required.
The interior is in well-maintained condition with no cracks or holes. The fabric is still the original and has never been reupholstered. The red seat belts are an extra accessory.
Technical condition
The engine has a slight oil leak.
The car runs and brakes without any problems, and the transmission shifts as it should.
It starts up well, both in cold and in warm conditions.
The engine is running smoothly and there are no unusual noises.
There was never any smoking in the car.
The brakes are in good condition.
The tires have full tread, are from 2015, and have no cracks or damage.
The steering has no play and the car travels straight ahead.
There is only a small amount of rust on the underside, no holes or serious damage.
We have no maintenance history; it was carried out by the previous owner themselves.
An Abarth exhaust system is installed; the required approval for it is in place.
The German documents are present and complete. There have been 8 previous owners.
There are 2 sets of keys.
We are happy to deliver the vehicle worldwide. Please do not hesitate to submit a transport request.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
