Description from the seller
Authentic vintage miniature sewing machine from the early 20th century, Singer USA.
Singer Sewhandy Model No. 20
The Singer Manufacturing Company registered mark USA
This is a genuine old Singer 20 sewing machine: 'authentic machines always bear some marks indicating their age and are always in the basic Singer colors.'
The Singer 20 model was manufactured at the Elizabeth factory in New Jersey, United States.
Appearing for the first time around 1910, about 60 years after Isaac Merritt Singer founded the large Singer Manufacturing Company, the Model 20 was the 20th unique Singer model, based on Isaac Singer's patent model No. 1, patented in 1851.
These miniature Singer sewing machines have been sold as lightweight portable machines for adults; they are not toys nor primarily intended for children.
This machine, a genuine antique, is clean overall. However, it shows some light signs of aging, such as oxidation spots on the chrome parts, among others.
Please see the photos; these are part of the description.
This is NOT a toy, it's a real sewing machine.
Height: 17cm
Width: 18cm
Size: 1,110 kg
The paint on the sewing machine is in good condition.
She is generously decorated.
The mechanism appears to be in perfect working condition, although it has not been fully tested.
Very careful packaging and the object well protected.
